Am I unjust for punching village’s minotaur “problem” until it stopped moving?
Hail, friends. I (42F, ogre barbarian) am accomplished breaker of bones, snapper of chairs, and sometimes winner of arm-wrestle.
I come with problem: last week, I walk into little town called Haybucket.
After long journey on road, I have enjoy well-earned mead at local tavern. At tavern I overhear villagers complain, “Woe, there be Minotaur in our market square! It eats turnips, blocks wagons, makes moo-sounds at night when we sleep!”
I remember father’s fearsome tales of Minotaur. I decide to take matters into own hands like a proper hero! So I do what I always does: I flex. I yell. I punch the Minotaur right in its horn-face until it no longer makes moo. Victory, yes? NO.
Instead, village elders shout at me! They say Minotaur was official guard of grain silo. They say Minotaur protected them from bandits, and was only grumpy because someone kept throwing cabbages at its head.
Now baron wants me to pay for new guard, villagers have no one to scare crows, and someone made sad ballad about “Bovinius the Brave.”
So tell me: am I unjust for punching Minotaur in honest mistake? I blame nasty villagers who complain about noble Minotaur!
